A summary

Come along and enjoy 4 days of fun creative activity, games, good food and outdoor play. Space to Create holiday clubs are artist led and offer a wide variety of creative projects with new ideas for making, painting, drawing and performing. The coordinator for this club is Riz Maslen and the lead artist is Janey Moffatt. Due to the nature of funding we will be prioritising children on free school meals. “Absolutely delighted with the programme. My son loved it! Culture Shift has been working in East Sussex since 2011 providing arts-based creative activity in school and the holidays. We're passionate about creativity and its effects on wellbeing. We work with artists to design fun, interactive activities that help children & young people build confidence and connect with their peers. Culture Shift makes creative spaces where people can thrive. We put lived experience and local knowledge at the core of everything we do. We build partnerships, fusing culture with community, business and education.
Riz Maslen·Breaking the mould
I’m Riz. I am the coordinator of this club. I manage all the logistics, food and will make sure everyone has fun and is OK. Creatively, I’m into digital music, sound art and play in a band. I enjoy working with young people and have been involved in many different projects over the years. I’m a keen runner and enjoy growing my own food on my allotment.
