What we'll do
You will attend a 2 - 2.5 hour(additional half hour for settling in) session where you will engage in a range of activities to help you learn about ancient woodlands and their value in supporting biodiversity and mitigating climate change. There will be a tour of the site, safety briefing and then you will listen to a short introduction to ancient woodlands. However, we will not be sat down for long as there will be a range of activities to help you identify key features in an ancient woodland and learn more about the value of ancient woodlands. There will be an opportunity to explore and enjoy the forest area too.

I am a qualified primary school teacher (20 years+) and qualified as a Level 3 Forest School leader in 2021. I am a firm believer in the Forest School ethos: "Forest School is an inspirational process that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve, develop confidence and self-esteem, through hands on learning experiences in a local woodland or natural environment with trees.” Forest School is a specialised approach that sits within and compliments the wider context of outdoor and woodland learning."

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
