What we'll do
You will attend a 2.5 hour session where you will engage in a range of activities to help you learn about ancient woodlands and their value in supporting biodiversity and mitigating climate change. There will be a tour of the site, safety briefing and then you will listen to a short introduction to ancient woodlands. However, we will not be sat down for long as there will be a range of activities to help you identify key features in an ancient woodland and learn more about the value of ancient woodlands. There will be an opportunity to explore and enjoy the forest area too.
Booking is limited to 1 session per person. Sessions will not take place in extreme weather conditions: high winds, torrential rain, extreme heat or cold. Clothing- Children MUST wear long trousers/sleeves- no shorts Bring sunhat, wear insect repellent and sun cream. Food- Please provide your child(ren) with a snack /packed lunch and plenty of water The offer allows you to book onto 1 session only
