A summary
We offer a Summer camp allowing 8-15 year olds to get creative with us. A range of activities will be offered each week with art, clay, pottery, slime, cookery, glass fusing , textile, drama games, yoga & dance. Each day the children will undertake various projects as well as prep their own lunch/dinner depending on timings. Please either book the morning or the afternoon sessions but not both as the morning session are repeated in the afternoon. We are unable to take under 8 years old as we are not registered with Ofsted. This year we have refreshed our offering with Emma & julia leading and both with degrees in art based disciplines. We also are planning external events (weather permitting) with beach & park visits so please ensure your children have the correct clothing, suncream and water bottle.. OUr chef will be leading the cookery activity this year. To get the most from our activity we recommend booking for the week as it means that pottery etc can be fired in the kiln as this takes time so will be ready at the end of the week. We have facilitated these workshops for the past 3 years and they have proved very popular. ***This activity has been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Fully funded places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Looked After Children (LAC). Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.*** .

The Art House cafe is facilitating these workshops with their team & will bring in additional staff to support their schedule The Art House have over 8 years experience in running children's creative classes and fun activities for children We specialise in children's arts and crafts as well as making children have an enjoyable experience when they visit the Art House We bring in a variety of teachers to strengthen our summer offerings from dance, art and clay We are a very experience HAF provider offering our first workshops in the lockdown 2021 and have been chosen ever since to offer our creative classes to the children in Eastbourne We are based in the centre of Eastbourne close to all the transport links . Just minutes from the train station and the bus links. We are one minute from Eastbourne library The Art Hose cafe is situated in the heart of Eastbourne easily linked via the bus and train network . We are just minutes from Eastbourne central library We also offer the opportunity for children to gain valuable experience with cookery and meal preparation as well as encouraging children to try foods that they haven't experienced before. We have alot of repeat customers that book their children onto our workshops We are based in the centre of Eastbourne close to transport links . Just mins from the train station and all the bus links. We are 1 minute from Eastbourne central libray The ARt House is 6 years old and specialises in vegetarian food with a huge focus on plant focus and healthy eating The Art House was started to fill the gap to allow children to get creative in a friendly cafe and encourage the arts to improve self esteem in children
