Vocal Coaching and Singing lessons

A summary
I offer vocal coaching and singing lessons in Forest Row. I work with all ages and seek to use my knowledge of the voice together with my years of experience as a performer to impart joy and an enthusiasm for singing in others.
I have found singing to be a rich experience and have enjoyed many benefits physically and emotionally.
Using one's body to express emotions in this way is a great way to release any inhibitions.
I enjoy the sense of euphoria and the endorphin rush I get from singing and performance and treasure the opportunity to show others how this can be achieved.
I believe that each person is different and to that end I adopt a flexible approach to teaching, using imagery, intention and feeling together with rudimentary techniques to ensure that the singer leaves the studio with a toolbox they can use on their own!
Each session is one hour long. Please contact me for your preferred dates and times and I will create a session for you to book.

RODNEY CLARKE
From a very early age I was introduced to singing. In fact my earliest recollections of singing are from Primary school. In terms of performance, I starred as the Virgin Mary in my school Nativity Play as she had the most songs. From there on, my parents could see the benefits for me singing and found a choir for me to join. Singing as a chorister in a cathedral choir taught me how to use my ear, read music and be part of a team. My confidence grew enormously. Fast forward to music college (Royal Academy of Music, London) where i spent 7 years training - I enjoyed so many opportunities there and this propelled me into a busy and fruitful career as a performer in the genres of Opera, Musical Theatre TV & Film. On this long and fun journey I've had the joy of sharing my route to success with younger people, both offering masterclasses and one to one sessions. This is where, I feel, the real reward comes.
