A summary
1 FREE TRIAL session available for new joiners. Although this aims to be a drop off group we ask that a responsible grown up attends until the child has fully settled at forest school. Our Forest School group for home-educated children aged 5-13 offers a wonderful opportunity to learn and play in the great outdoors. Led by Forest School Leader Jim and assisted by Sophie, each session is filled with exciting activities like fire-making, woodworking, nature crafts, team games, and nature challenges. Children can enjoy scavenger hunts, seasonal crafts, woodland walks, foraging, and even campfire cooking. With fortnightly campfires, there’s always a chance to share stories and enjoy the warmth of the fire. Our sessions also feature hammocks, swings, tree climbing, and building activities—perfect for making friends and creating unforgettable memories in the woods!

Becky and Louise are experienced group leaders who enjoy welcoming children who are keen to get stuck in. Children who don't mind a bit of rain! Grown ups are welcome to stay free of charge as long as is needed to help their child to feel settled. Siblings 50% discount. Primley Woods is a great private forest school site which has wonderful climbing trees, a mud slide and a campfire circle to enjoy. Single trial sessions possible too.
