A summary
During the 2 hours we will chat about areas where you can make positive changes in how you clean your home to support your health and that of the planet. We will cover various chemical cleaning products and the damage they can do our bodies and the environment. We will make a cleaning product of your choice, ranging from cream cleaner, dishwasher powder, or anti-mould spray.
There are many natural options that we can use in the home that do a better job than the toxic chemicals generally used to clean. We will make a couple of cleaning products during the workshop that you can take home with you. I will also provide you with a few product recipes to try in your own time.
There will also be the option for you to buy some natural cleaning ingredients so you can carry on making your own cleaning products when you get home.

I am passionate about human and Earth health. Over the years I've tried to lessen our family's impact on the planet, by switching to more eco-friendly and animal friendly cleaning products amongst other swaps. I have a degree in Nutritional Therapy and certificate in permaculture design. Our long term health and wellbeing is intrinsically linked to that of our environment. The more we can do to live in harmony with our surroundings the better. A healthy home is an important factor in nurturing a healthy body. I love being outside, immersed in nature. Tending to the vegetable patch, looking after the chickens, walking in the woods. Deepening my understanding of the power of plants, the connections we have with the natural world, deepens my passion to do more to support our precious ecosystems.
