I love reading and always have done. I read all the time and am passionate about the power of books, how they can enrich people's lives and help us understand our own situations. They can be powerful, moving and a truly magical experience. I would love to be able to encourage children to see the value of reading and help them develop a life long love of the written word. I am a qualified English teacher, with a degree in English Literature, and also have experience working in a Montessori school. I have an MA in Creative Writing and love creating stories in my spare time. My favourite part of teaching has always been helping children develop a passion and interest in something I really love and that brings such value to my own life. I want to ignite that spark in children and give them a comfortable and safe environment in which they can discuss their shared responses to a text.

Cancellation policy
We need a guaranteed number of participants and so I will need 2 weeks notice for block cancellations in order to fill the space. Cancel up to 2 weeks before the block begins and receive a 100% refund. I am flexible with session timings so please express interest in alternative times/days if that is more suitable.
My experience is an educational activity, and the ‘14-day cooling period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 therefore applies. After the 14 day period my standard policy will apply.
