A summary
​ The Oast Studio is a great place to spend an evening with friends, being creative and chatting the night away. Alison, form The Oast Bakery, will keep us fed and watered with her delicious home baked treats. ​ Bring along your own project - sewing, mending, knitting, crochet... that project that is sitting on the side and not quite getting done! ​ We have plenty of workspace, sewing machines and materials, advice, and good company. ​ You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine if you would like to, or use one of ours.

I have always believed in the value of learning with our hands. More and more, we live in a world where anything and everything can be obtained at the touch of a button or the swipe of a screen, but this lacks the essential human connection and results in our increasing disconnection from the material world. I work with both private and commercial clients making cushions, bags, homeware and all manner of other sewing projects as bespoke commissions. I have worked with Molly Mahon for the last 7 years, alongside teaching group and one to one workshops. I have over 15 years' experience teaching both children and adults how to work with fabric and textiles.
