A summary

I endeavour to make your child’s birthday party not only magical and special, but individual and unique. I am happy you communicate and work alongside you as the parent in creating a personal birthday experience, alternatively I happy to take the full lead in suggestions, organising and leading the party. I offer Waldorf / Steiner inspired or Forest School games, activities, songs and craft which are age appropriate. I can include songs and games suitable for the group of children. For older children I can include lighting with a flint and steel, whittling sticks for sugar apple wedges of marshmallows to cook on the fire, and cooking popcorn on the fire with a great popcorn maker. I can bring my puppet apron and or tell a seasonal puppet show. I offer the Waldorf birthday story for those wishing it.

I originally worked as a learning support assistant in mainstream school and found myself drawn to younger children. I fell in love with the Waldorf kindergarten from the moment I walked through the Steiner Kindergarten door. I completed my Waldorf early years teacher training alongside working as an assistant at Michael Hall Steiner school. I became a teacher and started a kindergarten with a new group of children and families. I was fortunate to have several happy years there before starting my own family. I am now a busy home maker and mother to three young children. However 3.5 years ago I started Kindergarten Magic, my indoor Steiner inspired parent and child and kindergarten for home educated families and children of pre school age. Alongside this, I started up a Steiner inspired outdoor parent and child group to embrace my Forest school leader qualification. Waldorf/Steiner education ties in beautifully with our natural environment. It is my aim to reconnect families with nature, to help foster a nature connection whilst having fun and creating magic and wonder for both the child and the parent.

Location of party.

I am flexible to run your child’s party at your home, in your garden, in the woods, at a park or in a hired venue. If you would like help with a woodland location, please get in touch with me to discuss my ideas. Lymley Woods is a super outdoor location in the woods which I can arrange private hire at an extra cost.

Cancellation Policy

Cancel more than one week before the start to receive a full refund.10 % deposit will be required if cancelled within 7 days of the arranged party, unless another date is rescheduled. 20 % deposit will be taken if cancellation is made within 48 hours of the arranged party, unless another date is rescheduled.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
