What we'll do
Whether it's a street party or a private tea, you'll be needing some suitable decoration, so join us to make some bunting fit to jazz up your front garden for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. During this workshop you will learn: How to set up your sewing machine - and some trouble shooting How to understand the different qualities of fabric How to cut your fabric efficiently How to make double sided bunting flags - good from all sides What's included: A large selection of fabric remnants All other materials needed While we are doing all this, Alison at The Oast Bakery will be beavering away in the kitchen with local organic ingredients, whipping up a delicious afternoon tea to keep us going. Please feel free to bring your own fabrics if you wish. A light weight cotton is easiest to work with. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine, or use one of ours.
