What we'll do
This 'White Water Canoe: Tame the rapids' course is designed to take you from Zero to Hero. Meaning that you can start the course with no prior experience and we aim for you to finish the course with the ability to safely and independently paddle on open water and simple rivers and be part of a team of peers on rivers up to grade 2 (white water). It is a perfect course for those looking for fun, personal development or beginning their British Canoeing Coaching or Leadership journey. Your ongoing development will be supported by a Qualified British Canoeing Coach and organised around your schedule and lifestyle. You will attend as many, or as few days that you you need to reach the standard you desire - everyone progresses at different rates! Each date booked will be a Full Day - Approx 10.00 - 16.00 Locations for each date may vary, due to varying weather and river conditions and the skills of the group. If you like the look at the course but can not attend this location, please get in touch as we are likely to be able to arrange and alternative venue. You can attend as a solo paddler or a tandem crew
About your mentor
c2c-Outdoors
...life is about creating positive attitudes!
I am an avid outdoorsman who personally enjoys most, if not all, outdoor activities/adventure. My passion for the outdoors started when I was introduced to Snowboarding in the Alps, I was hooked. From that moment I sought-out as much outdoor adventure as I could, I started Rock-Climbing with a club, tried Canoeing & Kayaking with friends I met, took myself on Mountain Walks and signed up to lessons in wake boarding and windsurfing to name a few. It wasn’t too long before I knew that the outdoors was my passion in life. I gave up my full time job as a chef, completed a Degree in Outdoor Activities Leadership and Coaching and started my pathway to becoming a full time outdoor instructor/coach, putting myself through many, many, many hours of personal development and official/accredited training courses and assessments and I am continuing to do so.
