Join us this summer for an action-packed Holiday Club experience at The Yew Tree Club, Chadderton, running Monday to Thursday throughout August 2026. Designed for children aged 7-12 years, our programme offers four weeks of exciting activities that will keep young minds and bodies active, engaged, and having fun throughout the school holidays.
Our Holiday Club provides a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where children can make new friends, build confidence, learn new skills, and create lasting memories. Each day is packed with a variety of activities designed to encourage creativity, teamwork, physical activity, and personal development.
We're delighted to welcome The Big Comedy Shop on Monday 3rd, Monday 10th, and Monday 24th August for interactive drama workshops filled with fun, laughter, imagination, and creative expression. These engaging sessions give children the opportunity to develop confidence, communication skills, and teamwork while taking part in exciting drama-based activities.
Across the rest of the programme, children can look forward to a fantastic mix of activities, including:
• Multi-sports sessions delivered in partnership with Oldham Athletic Community Trust
• Arts and crafts projects that encourage creativity and self-expression
• Team games and group challenges that build confidence and friendships
• Gaming and console activities
• Indoor and outdoor recreational activities
• Fun competitions, themed activity days, and much more
No two days are the same, ensuring every child enjoys a varied and exciting holiday experience.
Our sessions are delivered by qualified and experienced youth workers and activity staff who are passionate about creating positive experiences for young people. The team works hard to ensure every child feels supported, included, and encouraged to participate in activities that suit their interests and abilities.
As part of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, eligible children will also receive a nutritious meal each day, helping to support healthy lifestyles during the school holidays.
Please note that activity schedules may be subject to change due to staffing, weather conditions, or resource availability. Any changes will be communicated where possible, and alternative activities of equal value and enjoyment will always be provided.
Spaces are limited, and demand is expected to be high, so we encourage families to secure their places early.
