Additional InformationAll activities are completely FREE OF CHARGE and no spending money will be needed.
Lunch, drinks and snacks will be provided, but the young people are welcome to bring their own food and drinks, if they wish.
Our staff all have years of experience working with children and young people and are all personally trained by us before working with any young people at Charlotte's Brightside. A safeguarding officer and first aid trained member of our team is also on hand at all times.
Drop offs and pick ups are both at our centre; Charlotte's Brightside, 1a Hope Street, New Brighton, CH45 2LN. Parents/carers dropping off and picking up will need to remain outside of the building at all times and the children and young people will be guided out by our staff. This is for safety reasons and to keep those entering and exiting the building controlled to avoid any complications, we hope you understand, the wellbeing of the children and young people attending is paramount to us. Young people are welcome to walk home as long as we have prior confirmation, signed on a consent form and agreed verbally by a parent/carer.
We completely understand if the young people would like to bring a mobile phone to keep in contact with yourselves, but please be aware that this is at your own discretion and we take no responsibility for personal items. Please refrain from personal items, such as toys, to be kept to a minimum and, where possible, kept at home. We have an abundance of toys, games and fun activities to make use of so these won't be needed!
If spaces are no longer required, we completely understand. We know plans change last minute and are more than happy for places to be cancelled but we do urge you to please contact us to let us know. We have experienced several no shows over the years which is so frustrating as these places can be offered to other children and young people, often keen to take part.
Thank you so much for your ongoing support to our charity. We absolutely love providing these fun days for your young people and can't wait to see them again/meet new faces!
