Mini First Aid for Teens
Enables teens to be confident in emergencies
Mentored by Jen Fisher
For ages: 11 - 17 years
What we'll do
Our Mini First Aid Teens class is ideal for teens from 11+ years who would like to learn first aid skills. It is a fantastic way to equip teens with the skills to help them in an emergency when out independently from adults. The class includes getting help safely in an emergency, assessing a casualty, the recovery position, CPR, using AEDs (defibulators), choking, bumps, breaks, burns, bleeding, fainting, asthma, allergies and anaphylaxis. All attendees will receive a certificate and workbook. Strict infection control measures will be in place during the class. Children over 12 will be asked to wear a mask unless exempt. Parents will be asked to wait outside during the session to reduce the number of people inside the building. Teens involved in babysitting may wish to also consider our 2hr baby & child first aid class in the adults section.
