A summary
Join us for rounders at the Old Bathing Pool site in West St Leonards. All welcome. No experience necessary. Not played since school? No problem. We range in age from 18 to 60+ and we don't take rounders too seriously. Join our Facebook group + page Hastings Rounders for more. We also play Tuesdays and Thursdays in Hastings, and Wednesdays in Bexhill. Some games are women only, some are mixed (all genders). Mixed games are separately listed. We have all the kit, so just sign up and turn up. We suggest you wear long trousers and long sleeves but it's up to you. Bring water. We can lend you kneepads. Get a bit fitter and learn more about rounders. Want to watch a game before you join in? No worries - book a free place and come and score for us, we will tell you our names and scores and you will see how it works. If something impacts your ability or confidence in running come anyway, someone can run for you. No way to get to the game? Don't let that stop you. Hastings Rounders was established in 2022 to further the accessibility of the sport of rounders, particularly amongst women of all ages, ethnicities, beliefs, sexualities, abilities and incomes, in the area of Hastings, East Sussex. We now play in St. Leonard's and Bexhill. Our values are community, equality and joy through rounders. We endeavour to safeguard our players’ wellbeing and to promote the sport of rounders to more members of our community. You can attend three events free and without giving us your details and still be covered by our insurance. So come on...
