A summary
Come and join us for Physical Education. We will do a variety of games and physical activities, including athletics, rounders, cricket, plus much more! Sessions run every Tuesday 11.00am-1.00pm at the Running Track at ARK Alexandra, Parkstone Road, Hastings. We are running 2 sessions. One session aimed at children aged 4-7years. One session aimed at children aged 8-16years. Sessions are priced at £4 per child. Prices include a bottle of water, or warm drink. Please book your place. You can either book and pay online, or if you would prefer to pay cash on the day, book your space with a free ticket and pay cash to the staff member on the day. Sessions are run in partnership with Active Hastings.

Play Sport UK is an exciting new company encouraging participation in sports for all, regardless of age or ability, through the provision of sporting facilities, accessible to everyone. There are thousands of sports facilities lying dormant for long periods of time in the UK. Sports halls, football pitches, netball courts, tennis courts, and much more that are owned by schools, are being under-utilised. Most are not used in the evenings, or at the weekends. Yet we often hear that there are not enough sports facilities available. Play Sport UK plan on changing this! With our facilities management programme, the facilities will become available to clubs and sports teams. And the schools will generate extra revenue!
Active Hastings
Physical activity sessions for everyone!
Active Hastings is an externally funded partnership project between Hastings Borough Council and East Sussex County Council Public Health. We have been working in partnership since 2006 to give local residents easy, fun ways to get their everyday dose of physical activity. It only takes 150 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity each week for adults and 60 minutes every day for children to benefit your health, both mental and physical. You can even break it down into 10 minute slots! All of our team are experienced sports coaches, fitness instructors and play workers, who are passionate about working with people of all ages in Hastings and St Leonards. We run free or low cost sessions throughout the year, as well as holiday activities as part of the Holiday Activity and Food programme.
