A summary
After-school support for A-Level students, available Wednesdays from 5:30 pm to 6.55 pm.
This group is designed for students aged 16-18 who are seeking expect tuition towards their A-level art studies and are capable of working independently within a group.
During these sessions, students will have the opportunity to work on their A-Level assignments in the studio. They will receive academic guidance on improving various aspects of their practical work and personal investigations. This term will pay particular importance towards enhancing the productivity of their exams.
Joining this group provides students with a positive and collaborative environment, inspiring them to create confidently alongside their peers while receiving input and advice to help meet exam criteria. One-to-one coaching sessions can be scheduled for deepening a students understanding and is encouraged for higher attainment, goals are reached by understanding their aims fully and in turn providing effective solutions.
Weekly sessions begin on January 15th and continue until 26th, March, with a break for half term. Please note there will be no session on 29th January, and there will be a break in the half term 19th February.
Basic materials are included in the cost, depending on individual needs. If you have any questions, need more information, or have a group of individuals wanting another date, please feel free to get in touch.

About your mentor

Joelle
Joelle has more than 20 years experience working in the arts, she has worked in the film industry, teaching sector, therapy fields and fine arts and brings a wealth of knowledge in supporting & coaching both adults and young people. Joelle has a private practice in Forest Row, whereby she works with small groups and individuals. Her expertise in counselling and creative approaches supports mental health & well-being alongside tutoring in art and design (for all disciplines) working with Degree, A level & GCSE students. Joelle is an experienced artist whose personal work is expressive and gestural. "There's a creative aspect in everyone that provides a voice and it's a pleasure always to encourage individuals in finding with delight this discovery". Joelle holds a BA hons in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins and is an experienced Transpersonal Arts Counsellor with a Level 7 qualification in Art and Therapy. Joelle is currently continuing her CPD in Psychotherapy, an integrative pathway.
