Engage and Grow Forest School

At Engage and Grow our vision is for participants of all ages to connect with nature, themselves and others creating a community of exploration and learning. Forest School takes a holistic approach to learning and development and offers the opportunity to learn skills like problem solving, creativity, tool use, knot tying, tree climbing, fire lighting and cooking. We aim to foster a deep connection and love of nature, through play and observations through the seasons. Participants are given time and space to explore and discover things for themselves alongside ‘knowledgeable others’, including our Forest School facilitators who are always close by to guide and reassure. Sessions are Participant-led and designed to meet the needs of individuals to ensure that participants grow in self-confidence, as well as developing their physical, emotional, cognitive, and social skills.
