Cygnet autism support for parents
About usThe Cygnet parenting support programme is for parents and carers of autistic children and young people aged 5-18 with a diagnosis from a professional. There is a 1.5 hour session online (using Zoom) or 2.5 hours in-person each week for 7 weeks. Attending Cygnet gives parents and carers an opportunity to develop their understanding of autism and look at practical solutions to support their child. It also provides the opportunity to meet other people in a similar position and hear about their experiences in an informal but supportive, warm and friendly atmosphere. The course is funded by South Gloucestershire Council, so your child must live in South Gloucestershire for you to qualify.
