A summary
Following the success of last year's Youth Day in Worcester, we will be running the event again in partnership with platform housing and HAF to bring together local organisations, young people and families for a day of activities, information and community engagement. The event aims to connect young people with opportunities, promote positive and safe choices, and showcase the support available within the local community. A range of partner organisations will be attending to provide advice, activities and resources. We will be joined by the likes of the fire service, the police, knife crime support with lots of sports and activities. To ensure a healthy food option is available to all our HAF children, a free lunch will be provided by a local catering company. We look forward to delivering another enjoyable and impactful day for young people and families across Worcester. Please note: 1 x HAF child ticket covers 1 x child and up to 2 x adults (18+)

About your mentor
PAL Fitness Education CIC
Supporting children and families
PAL Fitness & Education CIC aim to support people who experience disadvantage, in Worcestershire and the surrounding areas. In particular, PAL aim to support Children and Families from low income backgrounds and Disabled people, of all ages. We have a variety of projects and everything we do at PAL is about inclusivity. Our key areas of work are all evolved around the issues identified above, targeting people who face disadvantages whether that’s because of having a disability or mental health challenge, a Long Term Health Condition or due to economic disadvantage which is often of no fault of their own. Our Holiday provision for young people with disabilities and young people from low income backgrounds has the same values, ensuring that activities are inclusive, accessible and that all children can have positive opportunities outside of their school provision, while enjoying nutritious meals. We have a large SEN offer, which facilitates SEND specific opportunities both in term time and holiday periods, ensuring no child or family is left isolated.
