Yate Youth Junior Sessions block mentored by Jamie-Leigh Sabin-Staines

What we'll do

We are LPW Yate Youth and we run open youth sessions in the Yate area, our sessions are open to all young people aged 8-12yrs, we offer a safe, warm space to hang out with your mates or meet new ones, play pool, sports, PS4 or Xbox, we offer weekly craft and cooking activities, free food every session and of course our Tuck shop if you want to buy some of your favourite treats cheaper than most shops! We also offer advice and accreditation to recognise the amazing work young people can achieve out of school too, including Duke of Edinburgh, South Glos Awards and Asdan! Our Youth Workers are ready and waiting to meet you, with an ear to listen, a shoulder to lean on and a voice to encourage you! You can attend all our sessions, 1 of our sessions or a few, just book, turn up and say Hi 

Experienced Youth Worker LPW Service Lead

I have a Diploma in Youth and Community Work and hours and hours of training behind me on Mental Health, Sexual Health, Autism, SEN, Trauma Informed working and much more, with 18+ years of Youth Work experience. I have been working in the Yate area for 10 years now and another 2 years previously, I currently manage the Youth provision delivered by Learning Partnership West in South Gloucestershire. We run sessions all over Yate and the surrounding areas, and are based at St Nix Youth Centre and Brimsham Youth Wing.
