What we'll do
We will choose the best date for the beach, and the other day we will do a swimming trip, I've just put it all on one listing for ease when booking! We will of course keep you posted nearer the date as to which way round we do each activity and the timings of the day. Join us for an exciting and enjoyable day trip that will be tailored to the weather, ensuring everyone has a fantastic experience no matter the conditions. If the weather is warm and sunny, we’ll make the most of it with a relaxing and fun-filled visit to the beach. This will be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the fresh sea air, take in the beautiful coastal scenery, and spend quality time together in a calm and uplifting environment. Participants will have the chance to paddle or swim in the sea, walk along the shoreline, play beach games, listen to the waves, or simply sit back and relax while soaking up the atmosphere. The beach offers a perfect setting for socialising, building confidence, and enjoying the many benefits of being outdoors in nature. We encourage everyone to bring suitable clothing, sun protection, towels, and anything else they may need to stay comfortable throughout the day. There will also be opportunities to enjoy refreshments, snacks, and breaks as needed, allowing everyone to feel relaxed and supported during the trip. Staff or organisers will be on hand throughout the day to provide assistance, encouragement, and ensure that everyone remains safe and included in all activities. If the weather is not suitable for a beach visit, we will instead enjoy a trip to a local swimming facility. This alternative option will still provide plenty of opportunities for fun, relaxation, and social interaction in a safe and comfortable indoor environment. Participants can enjoy swimming, floating, gentle exercise in the water, or simply spending time with others while enjoying the facilities available. Swimming is a great way to stay active, improve wellbeing, and boost confidence, while also offering a calming and enjoyable experience for people of all abilities. Whether we spend the day at the beach or at the swimming pool, the aim is to create a positive, inclusive, and memorable experience for everyone involved. Both options provide a chance to unwind, stay active, connect with others, and enjoy a refreshing change of scenery. We look forward to sharing a fun and rewarding day together, filled with laughter, relaxation, and enjoyable moments regardless of the weather. Collection details and timings will be emailed nearer the session, collection will be from Headley down and Bordon. These sessions are open to all, we will give priority will be given to young people living in Bordon and surrounding villages and then open up to further afield should spaces be available.

Y Plus Youth Services CIC provides a range of activity and support services to young people aged 11 to 24 across Hampshire. With a focus on young people in the local area, they provide a term time youth hub, out of school activity and drop in sessions, outreach work, life skills and mentoring sessions, wellbeing and mental health support groups, and provide signposting for young people to other organisations including sexual & mental health support, food banks and other peer support groups.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.HAF spaces are limited, so if a cancellation is required please ensure this is done in a timely manner so we can offer the space to another participant on the waiting list.
