A summary

We are excited to offer a fully funded Christmas Holiday Club for eligible families! Each day, children at Warrington Youth Zone will enjoy four hours of festive, high-quality activities, including: - Christmas arts & crafts - Multi-sports and team games - Cooking and creative workshops - Fun challenges, competitions, and festive projects Throughout the day, we encourage young people to try new things, meet new friends, and get active through a variety of games and experiences. While technology is permitted on site, we strongly recommend that children do not bring devices, as we cannot take responsibility for any items that may be lost or damaged. We want all children to be fully engaged in the activities on offer. All children will also receive a hot, nutritious meal during the session, and fruit will be available throughout the entire session. We can’t wait to welcome your child for a festive, active, and memorable Christmas break. Daily Schedule 10:00am – Arrival with a warm welcome; children are divided into groups and begin rotating through activities. 10:15am – 11:15am – Activity Session 1 11:15am – 12:00pm – Activity Session 2 12:00pm – 1:00pm – Hot lunch and supervised recreation games 1:00pm – 2:00pm – Activity Session 3 2:00pm – Parent/carer pick-up – Please arrive promptly, as staff will be supporting additional sessions. Thank you! Important: As spaces are limited, please inform us as soon as possible if your child is unable to attend so we can offer the place to another young person.

Warrington Youth Zone is a registered charity based right in the heart of Warrington. We aim to provide young people with somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to. Our holiday club provision ranges in age from 5 years old right the way up to age 19, across several sites in Warrington, aiming to give young people a range of experiences to make every half term exciting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My child doesn't like sports/arts - will there be something for them to do? A: Absolutely! We pick out a range of activities every hour to suit all tastes. We also keep an open play space available, so if they're really not fancying that hour's activities, there will still be things to do. Q: My child has allergies/dietary needs, should I bring a packed lunch? A: While you're welcome to do this, our catering team are more than happy to cater for individual dietary needs. All allergies/requirements are monitored daily, but if you are concerned we might miss something, please drop us an email at info@wyz.org.uk to discuss further. Q: Can you support children with SEND? A: We are not able to offer 1:1 or personal care on the club, however we have a number of SEND children who attend, and ensure that the activities we run are inclusive, and we have a staff member on hand should they become overwhelmed and need a few minutes away from the excitement of the day. Q: Can I pay for them to stay longer? A: We do run a full-day paid holiday club alongside our HAF spaces. Parents eligible for HAF can book a 'top-up' space for their young person by getting in touch with us directly. The top-up costs £10 per day, for access to the club from 8am-6pm. Please email info@wyz.org.uk to book the topup. Q: Will they need any money with them? A: Everything is included in the holiday club, from lunch on arrival to snacks and fruit through the day. The only time they would need money is if they stay after the club on a Tuesday or Thursday for our Junior sessions. At 4pm, the café will open with food and drinks for sale from 50p to £1. This is separate from the holiday club, and so is not included in the booking.

Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.Payments for any Top-up places are expected ahead of the booking date. In the case of cancellation or non-attendance, no refunds are available at this time.
