A summary

A creative day at The Art House for children aged 7-11. This workshop will focus on words in art. Children will explore the links between words and images in the Japanese language and other artistic styles such as graffiti and calligraphy. Play with colour, texture and meaning by adding pictures within pictures. Children will have the opportunity to work with experienced practising artists and create their own masterpieces to take home. Our Happy Healthy Holidays aims to provide free creative enrichment activities and healthy food for children who receive benefits-related free school meals. A healthy lunch and refreshments are provided during the sessions. Sessions are delivered in our learning spaces and children should attend wearing clothes which don't matter if they get a little mucky.
