All activities are invitational.
Practicing mindfulness in a woodland setting can help to enhance our sensory skills through immersion in nature. Gently learning to pay attention to ourselves as well as our environment can help deepen our sense of connectedness with the natural world as well as ourselves.
Participants will learn simple meditation practices to help become more aware of what is happening with-in everyday experiences, therefore more able to manage thoughts, emotions and body sensations effectively.
The first half of the course will be spent looking at learning skills to develop an awareness of body sensations, feelings, and thoughts, and in the second half, we will learn how to incorporate these skills into our everyday lives.
