A summary
The Boar Oak project invites you to follow the seasonal cycles of the blacksmith within an ancient woodland. Support Simon's work to manage the land in a sustainable, hands on creative way. After 4 years of us coming together around the Celtic festivals of the year to use our hands and hearts to nurture the land, we are now seeing the wildlife thrive and come alive each year in a more beautiful way. Simon has created the Volunteer Action Days to allow folk to come and experience and get involved for no cost, just for a day, weekend or for a series of selected sessions over the next year. We look forward to seeing you soon! Children (over 10 years old welcome) Please come and contribute any time & hands on you can >>> Kit you Need to Bring ‣ Casual work clothes including work boots, waterproofs + warm clothes. ‣ Snacks & food for meals/ pack lunches. ‣ There is a basic compost loo on site.
