A summary
Want to get the children outdoors this half term? Why not come along for some outdoor fun with Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. These activities give you and your children the chance to explore the great outdoors, with our Wildchild Team at hand to help you along the way. This session will be focused on Wildplay so we’ll have all the kit to help you get wild in the woods with activities such as swinging in hammocks or building a den, nature crafts and skill based activities to give you ideas for the summer holidays. This session will follow the Forest School ethos of child-led exploration and play.

-We manage 45 nature reserves around the county totalling over 1,980 hectares -We carry out conservation projects to create and restore habitats for wildlife, to ensure that the county's wild creatures have secure places where they can feed, shelter and breed -We run events to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to discover, enjoy and care about the natural world -We work with families and schools to inspire a love and respect for nature and teach environmental education -We work with communities to improve local green spaces for wildlife. Additional information
This is a family session, therefore parents/carers must stay for the duration and book an accompanying adult ticket at the checkout. Wear outdoor clothing and feel free to bring a snack. This activity take place outdoors and we play whatever the weather so please make sure everyone is dressed suitably. Reminder that this is an integrated event therefore there will be children attending who are not booked through Aiming High as well.
