In summary: The World Outside – Booking Summary & Key Terms ( for full terms and conditions please head to the website - www.theworldoutside.co.uk) Important booking information We want everyone to have a safe, relaxed and enjoyable time at The World Outside. Please read the following information before booking. Adult supervision All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult throughout the session. Our team will lead the activities, but accompanying adults remain responsible for supervising their own children. Outdoor clothing Our sessions take place outdoors in a natural woodland environment and usually continue in most weather conditions. Please make sure that both adults and children wear: Long trousers Suitable layers Waterproof coats and trousers Sturdy, closed-toe footwear suitable for mud and uneven ground For safety reasons, Crocs, sandals, sliders, flip-flops and open-toed or unsuitable slip-on shoes cannot be worn. Anyone arriving without suitable clothing or footwear may be unable to take part. Medical information and additional needs Please tell us when booking about any: Medical conditions Allergies Dietary requirements Additional needs Support or adjustments that may help your child participate Please bring any medication your child may need, including inhalers, adrenaline auto-injectors or allergy medication. During accompanied sessions, the accompanying adult remains responsible for their child’s medication. Woodland activities Activities may include woodland exploration, natural crafts, den building, supervised campfires, cooking and the use of age-appropriate tools. Activities may occasionally be changed because of the weather, woodland conditions, the needs of the group or safety considerations. Everyone must follow the instructions given by The World Outside team. Cancellations and refunds These sessions are leisure activities taking place on a specific date. This means the usual 14-day cooling-off period does not apply. Places are limited and staffing, equipment and materials are arranged in advance. Refunds are therefore not normally available if you cancel or are unable to attend and your place remains unfilled. Please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot attend. Where we are able to resell your place, we will refund the session price, less any booking charges that we cannot recover. You may ask to transfer your booking to another suitable participant by giving us at least seven days’ notice and providing their full booking, medical and emergency-contact information. If The World Outside cancels the session, you will be offered another suitable date or a full refund. Arrival times Sessions begin promptly at the advertised time, so please arrive in plenty of time. Please contact us immediately if you are running late. Participants arriving more than five minutes after the session has started will not be able to join, as the group may have left the meeting point and the safety briefing may already have taken place. Please do not enter the Arboretum and try to find the group independently. A booking missed because of late arrival will be treated as a customer cancellation, and a refund or transfer will not normally be available. Access to Bodenham Arboretum Your Forest School booking gives you access to the designated Forest School area for the duration of the session. It does not include general admission to the rest of Bodenham Arboretum. Please use the meeting point and access route given in your booking information and follow any instructions from The World Outside or Bodenham Arboretum staff. Behaviour We want our sessions to be welcoming and enjoyable for everyone. Abusive, aggressive, threatening or seriously disrespectful behaviour towards staff, volunteers, other participants or Bodenham Arboretum staff will not be tolerated. Anyone whose behaviour places themselves or others at risk may be asked to leave the session. A refund will not normally be available where someone is asked to leave because of serious misconduct or repeated failure to follow safety instructions. Photography and personal information You will be asked separately whether you give permission for identifiable photographs of your child to be used by The World Outside. Photography consent is optional. Information provided when booking will only be used to manage the session, communicate with you, safeguard participants and respond to emergencies. By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted these booking conditions.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
