What we'll do
Wild Tribe is the umbrella for all our sessions, designed to nurture children’s connection to nature, their community, and themselves. Our activities take place in a beautiful outdoor setting, with a focus on free play, exploration, and holistic learning. We also offer an indoor option for emotions, creativity and holistic focused sessions. Our core values are: Connection: To ourselves, others, and nature. Community: Building meaningful relationships and supporting one another. Consciousness: Encouraging mindfulness and emotional well-being. Weekly Sessions Overview: *Tuesday: Woodland Fun Club Time: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM Location: Wild Tribe Field, Manor Farm, OX11 0ND. West Hagbourne, Didcot. Type: Outdoor. Drop-off only (children aged 6+). A fully outdoor session where children can enjoy the freedom to explore, climb, swing, dig, cook, balance, craft, and play group games. There’s no pressure to join specific activities – the day is shaped around the children’s interests. *Every other Wednesday: Wild Explorers Time: Drop-off for children aged 6+: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM Parent & Child session (younger siblings welcome): 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Location: Wild Tribe Field, Manor Farm, OX11 0ND. West Hagbourne, Didcot. Type: Outdoor learning and exploration. Families with younger children are welcome to join for shared outdoor experiences. Activities are centred around outdoor learning and play, encouraging connection with nature and fostering a sense of community. These sessions will take course every other week. *Thursday: Crystal Kids Crystal Kids is a nurturing space where children explore emotions, connect with nature, and grow in confidence through creative, mindful, and playful activities. Sessions blend games, crafts, movement, and storytelling with deeper practices such as journaling, meditation, crystals, and oracle cards — always held in a safe and supportive circle. Morning Session (10:30–13:00) · Ages 5–7 A playful, sensory-based space for younger children to gently explore feelings, creativity, and connection. Full Day (10:30–15:00) · Ages 8–14 Older children join from the beginning of the day and take part in both morning and afternoon activities. The afternoon continues with deeper creative practices and empowering tools for self-expression and awareness. Please bring a water bottle and nourishing snacks (or lunch for full day sessions). Our focus is always on emotional awareness, connection to self and nature, and supporting each child to feel seen, safe, and celebrated. Philosophy Wild Tribe nurtures children’s mind, body, and spirit by promoting a balance of freedom, creativity, and community. Whether outdoors or indoors, our sessions encourage children to thrive in a supportive, mindful environment while having fun, making friends, and learning naturally.
About your mentors
Maria Clavijo
Where children grow wild, kind & free.
I have been helping home Ed families for four years now and I am very passionate about teaching in a more creative way and through experiences. I also aim to bring families together and to create community, in this group the children will have fun, and the mums will be supported and have a community that listens and supports them. I love child care, teaching through games and using our creative power. I focus on having fun creating activities and games to enjoy our surroundings learning about nature and how to work with it in harmony.
Aimee Lay
Home ed mama - holistic wellbeing - childcare
Aimee has always had a career in childcare up until raising her own 2 daughters. Now a home ed mother and holistic wellbeing coach Aimee's focus is on growing a community for children and families to thrive. By creating a positive outdoor environment with facilitators who are also passionate about childcare, home/life/world education and holistic wellbeing. By reconnecting to nature, making beautiful friends and having lots of fun times together, Wild Tribe & Crystal Kids welcomes all those ready for a community and new connections.
What to bring
Come dressed in suitable clothing for the British weather – lots of layers are best. Thick trousers, vest (base layer) long sleeved top, jumper, thick waterproof coat and waterproof trousers are ideal in the late autumn, winter and early spring. Even in the summer long trousers and closed shoes will protect from nettle stings. Sturdy shoes/boots suitable for mud and climbing trees are good. Having a hat, gloves, scarf, spare jumpers and socks in your bag means you can be flexible even if the weather changes. This isn't necessary if you come to the Crystal Kids session as it is indoors, although we recommend good shoes and coats for lunch break. It is worth packing a change of clothes for younger children. We provide hot drinks, please bring along enough lunch and drinks for the day.
