What we'll do
⚽ Get ready for a fun-filled, action-packed day with West Yorkshire Sports Hub! Children will be welcomed by our friendly coaches and supported to feel confident from the moment they arrive. Throughout the session, they will take part in exciting, hands-on activities such as soft archery, foam axe throwing, glow dodgeball, Nerf-style team games, obstacle challenges and team-building games. There will also be creative activities, including Lego building challenges where children can design, build and work together, as well as arts and crafts such as colouring, painting, cutting, sticking and themed craft activities to take home. Each activity is explained clearly, with safety demonstrations, practice turns and plenty of encouragement. Children do not need to be sporty or experienced — our sessions are designed so everyone can join in, have fun and feel included. We also make the most of outdoor play, including supervised free play in the playground and woodland walk scavenger hunts where children can explore, search for clues, enjoy fresh air and work together as a team. All outdoor activities are carefully supervised by our amazing coaches to make sure children are safe, supported and having fun. Children will learn how to aim at targets, work as part of a team, try new challenges, build confidence and celebrate their achievements. The focus is on fun, movement, friendship, creativity and giving every child a positive experience. ? Expect lots of laughter, active games, outdoor adventures, Lego challenges, creative crafts, new skills and a safe, supportive environment where every child is encouraged to have a go.
