West Middlesbrough Family Hub October HAF

Live it & Get Active CIC

A summary
Join Live It & Get Active at West Middlesbrough Family Hub this October half-term for three fun-filled afternoons of sport, creative activities, cooking and Halloween-themed crafts.
Running from Wednesday 28th to Friday 30th October, children will enjoy a varied programme designed to keep them active, creative and engaged throughout the week.
There will be a big focus on arts, crafts and making Halloween-themed creations, with children getting involved in activities such as spooky decorations, masks, themed pictures, seasonal crafts and other hands-on creative projects they can enjoy and take home.
Alongside the creative activities, children will also take part in football games, dodgeball, multi-sports, team challenges and other structured physical activities led by our Live It & Get Active coaches.
Children will also get involved in simple cooking and food activities, including preparing some of their own food and taking part in fun nutrition-based sessions.
Halloween will run throughout the programme, with spooky games, themed challenges, treasure hunts, monster relay races and Halloween competitions.
On Friday 30th October, we’ll finish the programme with a Halloween dress-up party, with music, themed games and activities. Children are welcome to come dressed up in a Halloween costume if they would like to.
A nutritious meal will be provided each day, with dietary, allergy and religious requirements catered for where these are provided at booking.
