A summary

The Voices of Recovery workshop is designed to empower young men through music by providing opportunities for creative expression, skill development, and personal growth.

The 6 week program aims to enhance participants' mental health, wellbeing, and life skills through music production, songwriting, recording, and performance. Participants will also engage with the Recovery College and NHS Trust to explore pathways to long-term wellbeing and support

You will be able to choose to either attend our morning or evening sessions.

Here is the breakdown of the programme:

Week 1: Introduction & Mental Health Talk

Week 2: Music Production & Songwriting Workshop

Week 3: Recording Session & Live Music Practice

Week 4: Mixing, Mastering & Video Planning

Week 5: Music Video Recording & Focus Group

Week 6: Rehearsal & Showcase Event

Beatsabar Music Project CIC

Beatsabar Music Project is equipped with two recording studios and a rehearsal space. We offer enrichment activities to young people facing complicated situations, host music-based workshops for various age groups and abilities during holidays, and provide commercial bookings for professional recording artists. Over the past 10 ½ years, Beatsabar has been a prominent community recording studio in Wolverhampton, collaborating with schools, PRUs, youth intervention groups, charities and probation services. We've played a vital role in helping talented individuals acquire new skills, training, and employment opportunities.
