A summary

Our boxes provide absolutely everything you need to grow Cress, Beansprouts and Pea Shoots from your windowsill. We'll deliver to your home address with Royal Mail, posting them out from 17th July 2026 onwards. There's no experience necessary. All the seeds, pots, compost and step-by-step guidance you need is included. It's designed for beginners and everything's ready to eat 7 days after planting. We include recipes for all the seeds, so you'll be able to cook with everything you grow too. We'll deliver to your home address with Royal Mail, posting them out from 17th July 2026 onwards. Please book one box per child and on one day, multiple bookings over several days will not be accepted. Pot Gang exists to help anyone grow fruit, veg and herbs from home - regardless of experience, space or mobility. Our core offering is grow kits with all the seeds, pots, compost and instructions to grow seasonal food from start to finish. For HAF specifically, we have been part of the Programme since 2021. We have worked with 50+ councils, reaching 100,000+ children. We are also proud to be named The Sunday Times Best Gardening Box.

Learning aims

Aim 1

Growing vegetables and herbs from home is a core driver of healthy eating habits. Children are far more likely to eat foods which they have grown themselves

Aim 2

Our kits encourage children to get outside, playing on their hands and knees, getting messy in the compost. It’s not a strenuous activity but requires physical movement.

Aim 3

Our grow kits teach children a new skill rarely taught at home or at school. They teach the fundamentals of where foods comes from and how to work with nature, not against it.
