A summary
At URBOND we provide safe and fun-filled 3 day of activities from 11 am to 3pm for children aged 5 to 11. Funded by the Department for Education, HAF Fun Pompey will provide free holiday provision, including nutritious food and enriching activities, for children and families who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals. Our enthusiastic and caring staff and volunteers will make sure every child is making new friends, trying different things, and learning new skills and most importantly, having fun! We’re kicking off the day with an action-packed hour of sports at Charles Dickens (drop-off point)! Get ready for basketball, football, and a variety of fun multi-sports activities to get you moving and energised. After all that fun, we’ll take a short walk to the URBOND main office at City Buildings, Commercial Road (right across from McDonald’s). There, you'll be treated to a delicious and nutritious meal prepared with love by our amazing cooks. The afternoon is all about relaxing and getting creative. Whether you’re into board games, ping pong, PlayStation 5, or arts and crafts, there’s something for everyone. It’s the perfect chance to unwind, express yourself, and make new friends. What to wear
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes and bring your water bottles. The weather can be quite unpredictable, so please bring a waterproof jacket. We also recommend children and young people to bring their own water bottle. When we go out, we will provide children with a Hi-Vis’s jacket to keep everyone safe.
