Trip to Cannon Hill Park / Nature Centre block mentored by REACH CIC
What we'll do
The visit to Birmingham Nature Centre gives children the chance to see a wide range of animals up close, including mammals, reptiles, birds, and endangered species. Families will also have a chance to enjoy open green spaces, playgrounds, lakes, and nature trails. It’s a relaxed outdoor experience that encourages physical activity, imaginative play, and social interaction in a safe, natural environment. Before we leave, meet at The Link and we will provide lunch for all children, so they’ll be set for the day and ready to enjoy the experience. Coach will leave Winyates Centre at 9am promptly and return at approximately 4pm. This is a family trip therefore all children must be accompanied and supervised all day.

REACH prides itself on being a safe space for many people who use The Link daily with people that they trust. REACH facilities are used for 5 days a week. Many of our service users are facing fuel poverty, have limited funds to heat their homes therefore The Link is a safe, warm place to be where there needs can be met. Our open-door policy means no matter the issues we always have a safe space and welcoming environment with familiar faces.
