A summary
Our SEND-specific camp offers a warm, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child can feel safe, have fun, and enjoy the season at their own pace. With high adult-to-child ratios, a focus on free play, and gentle, engaging activities, the camp is thoughtfully designed to meet each child’s individual needs making every day a positive, confidence-building experience. CAMP DETAILS Dates: Monday 30th of March - Thursday 2nd of April Camp Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm Location: Tolworth Recreation Centre, Fullers Way N, Tolworth, Surrey, Tolworth, KT6 7LQ Age Group: Reception – 16 Years LUNCH All funded bookings include a daily hot meal, which is vegetarian and free from the top 14 allergens to make sure as many children as possible can enjoy it. WHAT TO BRING A water bottle to stay refreshed Comfortable clothing suitable for sensory and movement-based activities A nut-free packed lunch (if you’re not choosing ours) Comfort items if needed, such as fidget toys or sensory aids Personal care items, if needed SEND BOOKINGS All new SEND bookings must complete the form sent after booking. If your child has attended before and their needs remain the same, there is no need to fill it out again. A member of the OurCamps team will review new submissions, and if we are unable to provide the necessary support, we will contact you to discuss alternative options. Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children is our top priority, so bookings may be cancelled if this step is not completed when required. ACTIVITIES MAY INCLUDE Sensory play and relaxation spaces Free play with a variety of engaging toys and equipment Arts and crafts designed for creative expression Music, movement, and storytelling Gentle physical activities and outdoor play Small group social games with structured support Quiet areas for downtime when needed Our SEND camp is focused on providing a nurturing, flexible setting where children can engage in activities at their own pace, with staff on hand to support their needs. Whether they prefer exploring independently, engaging in group play, or simply relaxing in a calm environment, this camp is designed to be inclusive and adaptable.
