What we'll do
Learn tracking techniques and their role in creating a deeper sense of kinship with non-human communities. Discover how ethnoecology, the study of how people perceive the more-than-human world, helps nurture a richer understanding and appreciation for plant and animal geographies. Learn how to not only follow a string of clues but to constantly update your mental picture of your targets and how it is interracting with the environment and the more than human elements that surround us.

About your mentors
Nic Harding
Project's Officer at FSA
As the Project Officer, I'm pleased to be organising the annual Forest School Association Conference. I am appearing as a Mentor on each workshop to give me oversight and allow me to help out on the day, I may not actually be on your workshop.
Paul Moseley
Plays with sticks for a living.
I have been leading programmes since becoming a forest school prac//oner in 2007. Since 2009 I have been a qualified trainer and have been fortunate to mentor thousands of practitioners both in the UK and internationally. Presently I am completing a Master's degree, before continuing onto a doctorate, focusing on kinship, natural crafts and place-responsive practice in regard to forest school communities. A lot of my work is as an ethnoecology consultant, advising organisations on their practice in relation to nature connection at a community/regional level. In 2019 I founded a non-profit through which I run forest school and outdoor play practitioner training and bushcraft workshops/courses www.exploreournature.com

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
