A summary
This summer, Beatsabar is bringing an exciting FREE music and sustainability workshop for children and families! Over five weeks, young creatives will get hands-on with music production, lyric writing, and live recording, all while learning about reducing food waste in fun and inspiring ways. Participants will: Write and perform raps or songs about “wonky” fruit, leftovers, and creative cooking Create instruments from recycled food packaging—think rice shakers, tin-can cymbals, and more Learn rhythm, beat-making, and DJ skills with in-house music mentors Film their own “No Waste Jam” music video End with a live showcase performance for friends and family! Through rhythm and rhyme, children will explore positive themes such as healthy living, sustainability, and creative expression in a fun, supportive environment.
