What we'll do
The Sensory Spot CIC’s Inflatables and Games Session is a lively outdoor experience designed to get children moving, laughing and working together. This high‑energy session brings a mix of team games, sports activities and exciting inflatables, giving children plenty of space to run, jump, bounce and explore movement in a fun, supportive environment. Children can take part in a variety of sports and group challenges that encourage cooperation, turn‑taking and friendly competition. Whether they’re racing, balancing, aiming, or working as a team to complete a task, each activity helps them build stamina, coordination and confidence while having a brilliant time with their peers. The addition of inflatable equipment adds an extra layer of excitement, offering safe, joyful opportunities for climbing, bouncing and active play. These activities support physical development, core strength and resilience, all while keeping the atmosphere upbeat and engaging. Throughout the session, children are encouraged to try new things, challenge themselves at their own pace and celebrate their achievements. Staff provide encouragement, emotional support and gentle guidance, ensuring every child feels included and able to shine. This session reflects The Sensory Spot CIC’s commitment to creating inclusive, active and confidence‑building experiences where children can enjoy movement, fresh air and positive social interaction in a safe, welcoming space.

About your mentor
The Sensory Spot CIC
We are inclusive of all needs and abilities
The Sensory Spot CIC is a community‑focused, child‑centred organisation dedicated to creating safe, nurturing, and engaging spaces for children with additional needs. We believe every child deserves opportunities to play, explore, learn, and thrive in an environment that truly understands and celebrates their individuality. Our sessions are thoughtfully designed to support a wide range of sensory, emotional, and developmental needs. Through hands‑on activities, sensory play, communication‑rich experiences, and gentle structure, we help children build confidence, develop key skills, and enjoy meaningful connections with others. Our approach blends sensory exploration, communication development, creativity, and play‑based learning. During school holidays, we deliver high‑quality educational and sensory sessions as part of the Department for Education’s HAF programme. These sessions offer enriching activities, opportunities for social interaction, and nutritious meals in a supportive, welcoming environment. Our aim is to ensure that every child can enjoy positive holiday experiences that promote wellbeing, curiosity, and joy. At The Sensory Spot CIC, families are at the heart of everything we do. We work closely with parents and carers to create experiences that feel safe, empowering, and genuinely inclusive because when children feel understood, they flourish.
Inclusive fun for everyone
We aim to encourage independent play and exploration. Inflatable fun, games and crafts. There is something for everyone. We encourage our parents to participate too and have fun. Enjoy making healthy snacks for yourself and exploring with our fruit tasting.
