What we'll do
Join us for a fun-filled adventure where young creators get hands-on with 3D printing, drones, and virtual reality! Dive into the world of 3D printing as you design your own gadgets, toys, or decorations using specialist software, then bring them to life with our range of 3D printers. It’s all about creativity, teamwork, and making something amazing to take home, no experience needed, just imagination and a smile. You’ll also explore drone design and take part in both real and simulated flight sessions, learning how drones work and completing exciting challenges to test your skills. Then step into immersive VR experiences, where you can explore virtual environments, take on interactive challenges, and see engineering and design from a whole new perspective.

Learning aims
Aim 1
Understand the 3D printing process - Learners explore the full workflow: designing, slicing, and printing, gaining insight into additive manufacturing principles. -
Aim 3
Foster creativity and innovation - Learners design original objects, iterate prototypes, and solve design challenges, encouraging experimentation and resilience.
Aim 5
Build problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Projects often involve constraints (e.g., material limits, print time), prompting learners to troubleshoot and refine their designs. -
Aim 2
Develop digital design and CAD skills - Students learn to use design software to create or modify 3D models.
Aim 4
Enhance spatial reasoning and visualization - By transforming 2D sketches into 3D objects, students improve their understanding of spatial relationships and dimensional thinking.
Aim 6
Promote collaboration and communication - Group projects encourage discussion around design choices, printing parameters, and real-world applications
