The Imaginarium Creative Studios supports health, mental health and wellbeing using the power of the arts, education, creativity and culture. We bring life changing experiences that create childhood memories to last a lifetime with a professional team dedicated to support the individual needs of children and young people.
What to expect
At the heart of the Street Creations bootcamp is a seamless daily rhythm powered by the Imaginarium Creative Studios, designed to keep everyone energized and inspired delivered in an inclusive way. Each morning begins the moment you step through the door, where you will place your personal lunch order from a curated menu, picking from a variety of delicious hot meals or fresh packed lunches prepared especially for you catering for your dietary needs. With your order locked in, you will dive straight into the action, participating in high-energy, hands-on urban workshops led by creative pros. After working up an appetite, the entire crew comes back together to share a relaxed group lunch, laughing and talking over the great food you selected earlier. This fantastic community vibe builds all summer long, leading up to our family celebration on Sunday 23rd August. It is the ultimate grand finale where we will show off all your incredible artwork, music, and dance routines to your family, celebrating new summer friendships in true street style with an epic party buffet together!
Learning aims
Aim 1
By the end of the bootcamp, participants will master a high-energy fun group street dance routine to perform live at the Sunday family celebration if they wish.
Aim 2
Street Fashion & Customisation As a crew the kids will design and walk away with a completely customised, wearable piece of streetwear that reflects their personal identity.
Aim 3
Arts & Crafts (Urban Style) The kids will create a vibrant personal portfolio of urban art, including miniature graffiti mural pieces with a twist (no spray cans)
