A summary
Nestled within the serene grounds of Watlington Hill Farm Sanctuary, the Hub offers an interactive and hands-on learning experience. While children are encouraged to follow their interests, they also have the opportunity to engage in structured projects designed to enrich their education. Our Hub group have already achieved incredible milestones, from designing, building and planting a raised bed for fruit and vegetable growing to organising and running their own car boot sale, and Christmas Market. These activities not only foster practical skills but also promote creativity, confidence and teamwork.

About your mentor
The Home Ed Hub
Yours child's imagination is the limit
The Home Ed Hub was envisioned in early 2023 by a group of like-minded home educating parents who saw a growing need within the community. We recognised the importance of creating a space with heart and a strong sense of community—a place where home educated children could truly thrive. We imagined a place where children could come to learn about and gain their independence. Where self-led, real world, project-based learning was key. We recognised milestones look different for each individual and we believe that any achievement should be noted and celebrated.
Learning aim
Aim 1
Our aim is to create a supportive community, where children can gather knowledge and skills for life in an environment that encourages self-directed exploration.
