What we'll do
Please ensure you book the AM and PM session for each day. Half days are not available. Please know that this a two day course and therefore young people will need to attend for both days. Act Out is a school holiday programme that gives young people the opportunity to take part in acting, singing, dancing, drawing, team-building and games. Activities include getting to know one another, co-creating scenes with peers, learning a dance that fits the theme, designing characters, thinking of stories and playing active games in order to promote fun and inclusion. Usually there is a showcase of the young people's work at the end of the project where parents, carers, friends and family can come to watch. It is a project built on co-creation, therefore, it has been produced by/ with and for the young people. Previous themes have included: friendship, adventure and fairy tales.

About your mentor
The Habbit Factory
We promote an inclusive world.
The Habbit Factory is an arts organisation situated in the London Borough of Havering, established in 2004 with a mission to promote change to model inclusivity. Our motto "where everyone can have their moment in the spotlight" aligns with our vision of an inclusive world, where the arts is accessible to all. Our philosophy is centred around the belief that everyone, irrespective of their abilities or background, is welcomed. We collaborate with children and young adults to create performances that entertain and challenge stigma amongst the audience.
