A summary

The Grove Community Hub's Holiday Scheme is back for the Winter Holidays; offering two fun-filled festive days of activities! The scheme will run on Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd December 2025; with both days starting at 9am and finishing at 3pm. As always, all children who attend will be offered breakfast and lunch. Once again, we have linked with Braunstone Community Primary School to be able to offer more spaces for children to attend! You will have the choice to book you child on to either: Football and Multi-Sport Camp, where activities include: Football skills and games Basketball Multi-Sports EAFC / Gaming Pool / Table Top Football Cook-and-Eat workshops Santa's Grotto And more... Dance and Arts & Crafts Camp, where activities include: Street Dance Festive Arts and crafts workshops Fun games Games Room Cook-and-Eat workshops Santa's Grotto And more... Cost: Free Places for those on 'Benefits-Related' Free School Meals - administered by the Leicester City Council. We have free places available to those on benefits-related free school meals, through the Holiday Activities and Food programme. Please note that this is benefits-related free school meals and NOT the universal free school meals that all children get up to year 3. If you would like to contact the Leicester City Council direct regarding an application, then please use the following details - email haf@leicester.gov.uk or call 0116 4547140. Low-Cost Paid Places (for any child not eligible for Benefits-Related FSM) We also have a limited amount of low-cost paid places for those families with children who do not fit the free place criteria. As we are a community organisation, we have tried to keep our costs as low as possible compared to other private holiday scheme providers (which is becoming more difficult due to rising costs). All proceeds from paid places are reinvested back into future schemes and community projects. £15.00 per child, per day The above cost includes a full day (6 hours) of activities, as well as breakfast and lunch for ALL children and any additional workshops. You are able to book either on to individual days, or for both days. Places are limited and once gone, we can't guarantee any more will become available; so book early to avoid disappointment!

This includes delivering School-Holiday programmes during all school holidays; including partnering with the Leicester City Council (and DCMS) to offer FREE places for those children receiving benefit-related free school meals during the East, Summer and Winter school holidays.
