A summary
The Greenhouse Project Easter Holiday Club provides a safe, engaging and inclusive out-of-school provision for children aged 4–12 during the Easter half term. The programme offers a wide range of enriching activities designed to support children’s wellbeing, creativity, confidence and social development. Children take part in a variety of experiences including forest school sessions, sports and physical play, arts and crafts, and cookery activities. Our cookery sessions focus on teaching key food preparation and food hygiene skills, helping children learn practical techniques that they can transfer and use at home with their families. The setting benefits from a large outdoor space with swings, slides and open areas for exploration, encouraging active play, teamwork and connection with nature. Activities are carefully planned to provide both indoor and outdoor experiences, ensuring children have opportunities to be active, creative and curious in different environments. The Greenhouse Project is committed to being inclusive and welcoming to all children. We celebrate diversity and provide support for children with SEND, ensuring activities are adapted so every child can participate, feel valued and succeed. Our approach promotes positive relationships, independence and a sense of belonging within a supportive community. Overall, the Easter Holiday Club offers a fun, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn new skills, build friendships and enjoy a varied holiday programme.
