What we'll do
Here at New Ark you are able to get active on our playground by climbing, participate in football, tennis or hockey or a good old game of hide and seek and water fights. Use the balance beams, play in the sandpit or just chill, the choice is yours. Providing it is warm, join in the fun on our waterslide. Join in with cooking, colouring, drawing, painting, making slime, gardening and making dens. Visit the farm and help look after our sheep, pony, turkeys, ducks, chickens, ' Cheddar' the pig who is not so little! guinea pigs and rabbits. Help with feeding and watering, grooming and petting the animals. Make your own pizzas, fruit kebabs, cakes and much more, experiment with tasting new foods. Be creative with the clay, junk modeling, gluing and sticking, making jewelry and painting.

About your mentor
NewArk Play Association
We believe in children's right to play.
We are a charity which began in 1974, offering many different stimulating play opportunities using our traditional adventure playground, eco garden and city farm. We have been bringing joy to many children for nearly 50 years and believe that all children have a right to play in a safe environment. Children are able to access our city farm which is the only one in Peterborough, they are able to experience hands on encounters with a wide range of animals. Our unique playground allows children to run, climb and problem solve allowing them to thrive and make positive frienships.
Timetable
We will be offering lots of different activities both indoors and outdoors. Some of these will include cooking, painting, junk modelling, football, tennis, sand play to name a few. We have a big outdoor area to run, play chase or hide and seek, use balancing skills on our trim trail and climbing. The farm will be open and children will be able to help with looking after the many different animals. We have a pony, a sheep, rabbits. guinea pigs, ducks, chickens and a pig called 'Cheddar'. Children can help to care for the animals, preparing their food, grooming, petting and general cleaning duties. We look forward to seeing you.
