Join me for a gentle Sunday walk through the turning seasons at The Yoghurt Rooms, East Grinstead. Each month we’ll explore what’s in season and how to forage safely and sustainably — learning to recognise edible, medicinal, and magical plants along the way. From winter roots to spring shoots, summer berries to autumn fungi, The Foraging Year follows nature’s own calendar. Expect practical ID tips, folk stories, and a few recipes or remedies to try at home. Perfect for beginners, families, and anyone curious about nature. Come as you are, bring your curiosity — and maybe a basket. When: One Sunday each month 1030 start (2-hour session) Where: The Yoghurt Rooms, East Grinstead Cost: £20 (under 16s free)

I am an experienced ecologist advising a number of large estates, organisations and private individuals across the High Weald. I also run conservation, ecology and biodiversity training sessions out of the Chiddinglye Estate. I also run foraging experiences. Before starting AtoBee Ecology I was the Ranger at Chiddinglye and prior to that I have worked for Bristol Zoo, Buglife and taught conservation at the University of the West of England.
