A summary
At The Creative Space we'll explore the local landscape and speak to experts before immersing ourself in varied arts and crafts using inspiration and knowledge we've acquired from our time spent outdoors exploring! We'll eat extremely scrummy local food from The Fairydust Emporium and we'll work together as a group to have the best time possible! As well as all this, we'll invite family members to view group artworks and create our very own 'mini-exhibition' - what's not to love?! Sign up and become an Artist this Winter!

What motivates us?
At The Creative Space we are motivated by the lack of access to quality arts engagement and opportunities in rural West Cumbria. As a local and professional Artist, Zoe Forster, has made it her mission to provide access to arts for all - especially young people. No child should be left behind, we all have much to give, and we all should have ample opportunity to show that.
Learning aims
Aim 1
Develop teamwork and communication skills by engaging in collaborative projects, shared reflection, and group storytelling that celebrate collective creativity.
Aim 3
Encourage children to explore and interpret the natural seaside environment through creative arts, using sensory observation and found materials to inspire original artwork.
Aim 2
Promote wellbeing and confidence through daily outdoor activities, nurturing a deeper connection with nature and resilience in all weather conditions.
Aim 4
Promote food education by encouraging confidence surrounding accessible and quality meals.
