What we'll do
Hey Teens! Ready to get out, get active, and have a blast ? Join us at 10 am for a full-day trip that mixes fresh air, creativity, and exciting indoor fun – with everything included: transport, activities, and lunch! We’ll start our adventure by catching the train together and heading to Finsbury Park. You’ll have time to choose how you spend your morning – whether it’s getting active with football, frisbee, and using the outdoor gym equipment, or relaxing with a nature texture collage session in the park. It’s all about fun, your way. As part of building life skills and independence, we’ll also take a short trip to a local shop where we’ll guide you through choosing and buying a meal deal – a great chance to practice budgeting, making choices, and using money confidently. After enjoying your lunch in the park, we’ll turn up the excitement with the main event – bowling! ? Whether you’re landing strikes or just enjoying the vibes, it’s the perfect way to wrap up an awesome day. We’ll then head back together to Mint Street for 4pm, full of memories and maybe even a few strikes! Bring closed toe shoes with socks, a jumper, your water bottle, a hat, sun tan cream and a good spirit! Spaces are limited – book early to secure a spot!

Marine Bernier-Harrington
Co-Founder & Director
Hello, my name is Marine and I am a founder member of The Neurodiversity Family Hub. I am dyslexic and have neurodiverse children. My journey in the realm of neurodiversity began 15 years ago when one of my children, just 2 years old at the time, exhibited distinctive traits that set them apart from neurotypical individuals. Through a relentless seven-year battle within the educational and medical systems, my child received a comprehensive diagnosis, encompassing Autism, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, Dyslexia, and a severe language disorder. Fuelled by my experience, I embarked on an educational quest, immersing myself in the intricate worlds of Autism and Neurodiversity. My initial educational background includes a Master's Degree in Direct Marketing, and I worked in that field for years until I transitioned to the charity sector. My journey within the field of neurodiversity inspired me to expand my skill set by becoming a certified Transformational Life Coach, specializing in the Person-Centered (Rogerian) approach to accompany Parents of Neurodiverse Children and their children. And I am passionate about making sure Young Neurodiverse people and their families live happy lives in a caring community
