A summary
children aged between 7 and 15 can go along to Team Shoe-Box on Harlestone Road to learn ‘boxing fundamentals and increase fitness levels whilst training in a safe, disciplined and enjoyable environment’. all children taking part will receive a healthy hot meal. The sessions are free to those children eligible for free school meals. These must be pre-booked. All sessions will be delivered by fully qualified England Boxing coaches, who are safeguarding and first aid trained, as well as DBS checked.

Team Shoe-Box aims to provide an elite, friendly and accessible training base from which Northampton based boxing talent can thrive, offering boxers a comprehensive support package that will cater for their every need. Alongside this, the local community will be invited to use the gym’s facilities, with a series of bespoke classes, programmes and projects being offered to those with more fitness and/or lifestyle goals.
